The end of the day nears. Only 30 minutes 'til dismissal. The kids are doing handwriting now.
As soon as school is over, the K-3 teachers are headed to a conference for the weekend. Whoo-hoo! The conference is for Reading First teachers, about an oral reading assessment. Should be interesting. And they're putting us up in a hotel right on the beach. Not quite beach weather, but still. And then I have off Monday for MLK Jr Day. Not too shabby :)
