Some random updates

Just thought I'd post some random disjointed thoughts, cuz I'm bored. (Actually I'm cleaning, but last I checked, the two are synonymous.)

Attack of the Germs
I'm still not sick. I don't know how that's possible. In school, there have been students and teachers with the following illnesses: flu, stomach virus, pink eye, bronchitis, and strep throat. And I've had nary a sneeze. Not that I'm complaining. Still scarfing down vitamins, though.

Kick-Ass Music
I went to see my brother's band play again last night. Two bands, actually. He's in an acoustic band and a louder alternative/rock/metal-ish band. Last night his acoustic band opened for the other band. Only my brother could pull that off. "Come see me open for myself!" Sheesh. But they rocked, as always. I'm going to see them again next week. I'm a groupie :)

Founding Fathers
In honor of our fine presidents, I have opted to take a day off from work tomorrow to remember their achievements and contributions to society. I plan to do this by sleeping late, shopping, and watching re-runs of "Dharma and Greg." (Actually, I have the day off from work. I'm not playing hooky.)

Lent
After some thought (and a suggestion from a reader), I have decided to give up caffeine for Lent. I wouldn't say I'm addicted to it, but I do have a mug of coffee EVERY morning, and usually soda with dinner. It'll hurt to lose my morning fix, but I'm gonna give it my best shot. For the greater good, of course.

Okay, back to dusting.
